Accommodation
Hunter’s Quay Cottage was built in 1910 and retains its old charm, whilst being fitted to a high, modern standard. Accommodation consists of: Kitchen/diner, bathroom, lounge, conservatory and double bedroom.
Kitchen
With large farmhouse dining table and French doors opening onto patio area, this is a lovely room to dine in. There is also a fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and washing machine, as well as a good range of cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, etc.
Lounge
With two large comfortable sofas, an open fire, TV (with Freeview) and DVD player with large collection of DVDs.
Conservatory
Leading off the lounge this large sun room overlooks the garden and is a lovely place to enjoy a drink in the evening, or curl up on the sofa with a good book.
Bedroom
Cosy, light room (windows to front and back) with large king-size wrought-iron bed.
Bathroom
With modern white WC, sink, bath and over-bath shower. The water is heated by combi-boiler so hot water is always available, whatever time of day (or night).
Garden
The large secluded garden backs onto woodland and is regularly occupied by deer and a variety of wild birds. Cowal is also famed for its red squirrel population, so keep a look-out! There is a variety of garden furniture and a barbecue for those hot summer days.
All linen, towels and dish cloths are provided; electricity and gas are included in the tariff and an initial supply of logs for the fire (and firelighters) is left in the cottage for your arrival.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets.
